with:
Name
Title of your layout
A brief description of your doodles/process
Thank you!

Inspired by Adrienne Looman's new book, "The Doodle Formula" , our challenge this time reaches a whole new level! Here is your chance to create a doodled layout, a one-of-a-kind, ultra personalized and inimitable page that will beat the big designer names in the scrapbooking industry. Let your very personality scream in the pages!
AMAZE US
SURPRISE US
ALLOW US A GLIMPSE OF YOUR CREATIVE SPIRIT!

The doodles should be executed using pens, pencils, markers, watercolor or paint. It should be a 12x12 page.
Be as creative as you can be. Your LO will be judged based on The Formula, which include: (btw, if you have The Doodle Formula and you have done Adrienne's step-by step workshop, you already know what we're talking about :D
A. Your Use of Shapes
Shapes may be inspired by an embellishment, a chipboard, a photograph, a patterned paper, or anything you see around you that inspired you to make the LO.
We borrowed 3 of Adrienne's LO's - take a look at the shapes used here:

B. Impression of Depth

When you have created dimension in your otherwise flat page is another element that must be present in your page. So go ahead, doodle those shadows :-)

Here's a sample to give you an idea:

C. Your Use of "Fillers"

Fillers are the finishing touches. You utilize them to cap off the creation of a page. You may use dots, circles, or any other shape imaginable that can fill up those empty spaces. For example, take a look at the fillers in this layout.

And guess what, Adrienne Looman herself will be picking the best layout (thanks, Adrienne)!

"Lets see....I'll bet you want to know a little more about me right? hehe. Well, I am 25 and I'm a total dork (I really am! you'll see lol). No kids...but I *do* have a little chihauha puppy named Bruiser (mass destroyer!). Not married either--it's ok too because I can do plenty of scrapbooking lol. Speaking of it, I've been scrapbooking for 10 years and consider it a passion more than just a hobby. Although my style in scrapbooking has drastically changed within the last year or so, you can find some of my older styles in the 2003/2004 Chatterbox idea book, and in an upcoming 2005/2006 Chatterbox idea book. I have also been published in a few issues of the following magazines: Paper Trends, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook Answers, Idees De Scrap. In addition I have contributed several projects to other idea books and have a few to be announced at a later date this year. I've been blessed to have the opportunity to design for several companies including: Scrappers Bliss, Scrapologie, Queen and Co, and the two that I am currently: Urban Lily and Scrap in Style TV. Oh and I've also been a guest designer for a couple places too!--Scrap Magie being one of them--thats totally fun! In June of 2006 I launched my own line of products which include handmade buttons and progressing to digital kits and foam embellishments....it has been rather successful (I am blessed). Every day I end up wondering what I did to deserve such great things in my path...I don't get answers but all I can do is soak everything up and enjoy life right now....in this very moment. Thank you for taking the time to read more about me! "

The winner will receive from www.bookoto.com, a choice of one of these:

A. Bluegrass Publishing package which includes a copy of The Doodle Formula and one Misty Tracey's Digital kits on CD, or

B. Simple Scrapbooks Package including the hottest new books by Donna Downey.

This challenge runs from April 21-May 29 .

Deadline of submission is on May 29, 2008, at 12:00 noon Manila Time, or 12:00 midnight May 28, , eastern standard time, US. You may submit your entry by uploading it directly to our gallery, or email to admin@bookoto.com.
